| Background: Historically, TRAIL-R2 has been referred to as tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 10B precursor, death receptor 5, TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand receptor 2, TRAIL receptor 2, and CD262 antigen. TRAIL induces apoptosis in various types of malignant cells without affecting normal cells. TRAIL binds to receptors TRAIL-R1, TRAIL-R2, TRAIL-R3, and TRAIL-R4. Upon binding TRAIL the death receptors, TRAIL-R1 (DR4) and TRAIL-R2 (DR5), signal apoptosis. Specificity: This antibody recognizes human and mouse TRAIL-R2 and detects a band of ~52kDa by Western blot in HL-60 and Jurkat cells and also recognizes a ~100 kD protein that may be a dimer. Formulation: Liquid 200 µg of affinity purified antibody in 10 mM KHPO4, 140 mM NaCl with 0.1 % sodium azide Quality Control: Western blot and/or Immunocytochemistry on cell lines HEK 293 or Jurkat Storage: Freeze at -20 °C or colder. Stable for at least 3 years when stored at -80°C. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles. CIO110P - Blocking Peptide TRAIL-R2 antibody $95 USD/100 µg Anti-TRAIL-R2 IH of paraffin section human spleen ENLARGE |
