Antibody to PIP5KIgamma

Background: This antibody binds to PIP5KIgamma, also referred to Phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate 5-kinase type-1 gamma, Phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate 5-kinase type I gamma, PtdIns(4)P-5-kinase gamma, and PtdInsPKIgamma. The PIP kinases are classifed with regards to signaling specificity as  type I, II, and III.  The type I and II PIP kinases include alpha, beta, and gamma isoforms and several splice variants. 

Specificity: Binds to a 85-90 Kd protein as shown by Western Blotting. Binding can be blocked by the peptide immunogen which is available for purchase.

Formulation: 200 ug per vial in KHPO4 buffer with 1 mg/ml BSA and 0.1% sodium azide

Quality Control: Western Blot on mouse spleen and brain lysates

Storage: Freeze at -20° C. For long term storage freeze at -70° C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
