Chemokine receptors are G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) and play a key role in inflammation and are characterized by similar sequences with a 4 cysteine motif. The C-C family has the first 2 cysteines linked together while the C-x-C family has an amino acid in between the first 2 cysteines. Historically, chemokine receptor type 5 has been designated C-C chemokine receptor type 5, CC-CKR-5, CCR-5, HIV-1 fusion coreceptor, CHEMR13, and CD195 antigen. Specificity: This antibody binds to CCR5 receptor on human spleen as determined by immunohistochemistry Formulation: Liquid. 200 µg of peptide affinity purified IgG in 10 mM KHPO4, 140 mM NaCl with 1 mg/ml BSA and 0.1% sodium azide Quality Control: IH of human spleen Storage: Freeze at -20° C. For long term storage freeze at -70° C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
