| Chemokine receptors are G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) and play a key role in inflammation and are characterized by similar sequences with a 4 cysteine motif. The C-C family has the first 2 cysteines linked together while the C-x-C family and an amino acid in between the first 2 cysteines. Historically, the 360 amino acid chemokine receptor type 4 (CCR4) has been designated as C-C CKR-4, CC-CKR-4, CCR-4 and K5-5 and is 85% identical to murine CCR4 receptor. Chemokines TARC/CCL17 and MDC/CCL22 are ligands for CCR4. Specificity: Peptide sequence is <50% identical to other chemokine receptors in this region. Formulation: Liquid 200 µg of peptide affinity purified IgG in 10 mM KHPO4, 140 mM NaCl at 1.0 mg/ml with 1 mg/ml BSA and 0.1% sodium azide Quality Control: Immunohistochemistry on paraffin section of human spleen cells Storage: Freeze at -20° C. For long term storage freeze at -70° C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
