Goat Anti-Human CCR2

Chemokine receptors are G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) that play a key role in inflammation and are characterized by similar sequences with a 4 cysteine motif.  The C-C family has the first 2 cysteines linked together while the C-x-C family has an amino acid in between the first 2 cysteines.  Historically, chemokine receptor type 2  has been designated C-C CKR-2, CC-CKR-2, CCR-2, Monocyte chemoattractant protein 1 receptor, MCP-1-R, and CD192 antigen.

Specificity: Peptide sequence is < 50 % identical to other chemokine receptors in this region. Cross-reactivity to mouse CCR2 not tested.

Formulation: Liquid. 200 µg of peptide affinity purified IgG antibody in 10 mM KHPO4, 140 mM NaCl with 1 mg/ml BSA and 0.1 % sodium azide.

Quality Control: IH on human spleen

Storage: Freeze at -20° C. For long term storage freeze at -70° C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
