Chemokine receptors are G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) and play a key role in inflammation and are characterized by similar sequences with a 4 cysteine motif.  The C-C family has the first 2 cysteines linked together while the C-x-C family and an amino acid in between the first 2 cysteines.  Historically, murine chemokine receptor type 4 (CCR4) has been designated as C-C CKR-4, CC-CKR-4, and CCR-4.

Specificity: Peptide sequence is < 50 % identical to other human chemokine receptors in this region. The antibody recognizes mouse CCR4 and has no cross-reactivity to human CCR4.

Formulation: Peptide affinity purified IgG in 10 mM KHPO4, 140 mM NaCl with 1 mg/ml BSA and 0.1% sodium azide

Quality Control: Immunohistochemistry on mouse spleen

Storage: Freeze at -20° C. For long term storage freeze at -70° C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
