Background: Caspases play a key role in programmed cell death referred to as apoptosis. Caspase-14 (CASP-14) is also known as interleukin-1 beta converting enzyme (ICE, Mini-ICE, MICE). Specificity: Peptide sequence is < 50 % identical to other caspases or caspase like proteases. Formulation: 10 mM KHPO4, 140 mM NaCl with 1 mg/ml BSA and 0.1 % sodium azide Quality Control: Immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections of day 17 mouse embryo Storage: Freeze at -20° C. For long term storage freeze at -70° C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
