anti-Adiponectin Receptor AdipoR1 C-terminal domain

capralogics

Description: Adiponectin receptor 1 (AdipoR1) is an integral membrane protein with seven transmembrane domains with an internal N-terminus and an external C-terminus. AdipoR1 is highly conserved among species and expressed by many cells. Skeletal muscle is rich source of AdipoR1. Obese humans have decreased expression of AdipoR1 in adipose tissue (AT). Weight loss leads to increased AdipoR1 in AT.

Specificity: Peptide sequence is < 50 % identical to other receptors in this region. The antibody recognizes AdipoR1 in multiple species since the sequence region recognized by the antibody is highly conserved.

Sequence Alignment:

345VAAAFVHFYGVSNLQEFRYGLEGGC369Human 345VAAAFVHFYGVSNLQEFRYGLEGGC369Rat 345VAAAFVHFYGVSNLQEFRYGLEGGC369Mouse

Formulation: Liquid 200 µg of affinity purified antibody at 1 mg/mL in 10 mM KHPO4, 140 mM NaCl with 1 mg/mL BSA and 0.1 % sodium azide.

Quality Control: IH on paraffin sections of human liver and muscle

Storage: Freeze at -20° C. For long term storage freeze at -80° C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
