Background: This polyclonal antibody was prepared at Capralogics by immunizing sheep with unconjugated, whole purified mammalian glucose transporter, GLUT1. The concentration at 1.78 mg/mL was calculated by UV spectrophotometry, where a reading of 1.4 at 280 nm equals 1.0 mg/mL of antibody.
