Antibody to PCB

Polychlorobiphenyl (PCB) is a toxic environmental pollutant.  PCBs comprise 209 compounds classified by the degree of chlorination.  Widespread PCB contamination is a significant public health issue.

Specificity: The antibody recognizes many types of PCBs and is useful for ELISA and affinity chromatography applications. 

Formulation: Supplied as a liquid in Tris buffer with 0.1% sodium azide as a preservative.

Quality Control: ≥ 98% purity and no contaminants detected. Single band of IgY detected by SDS-PAGE, IEP, and/or RID.

Storage: Short term storage at 4° C. Freeze at -20° C or colder for long term storage. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
